A Little About Myself & Others

I am a self proclaimed “late bloomer” and, at the age of 59, after finding my life purpose and true happiness, I’m ready to share the tools that have changed my life with those who truly desire to do the same.

I retired from my career as a Social Worker and while in search of healing from rheumatoid arthritis, I found a technique called The Journey. Eleven years ago I became an Accredited Journey Practitioner and Certified Visionary Leadership Coach. The Journey has provided me with the tools for tried and true results in healing my life, my emotional and my physical health.

This path in life has afforded me the opportunity to work one-on-one with clients, and be a support for numerous Journey events across North America, as well as to act as a lead trainer for a number of the presenters of the Journey Method.  The amazing people that I have had the privilege to meet, and the transformations that I have witnessed have been beyond anything I could have imagined.  I am honoured to be a contributing author to a book called Living The Journey, in which I have shared my personal story of the tremendous benefits of this work.

Even though I am a ‘late bloomer’, I have used the time wisely. I have healed; I have laughed; I have lived and, of course, I have loved. I have gone from feeling hopelessness to feeling tremendously hopeful, and I have committed to clearing all that was holding me back from blooming into the best “ME” that I can possibly be.  While bearing witness to the transformation and blossoming of others during the years of doing this work, I have been inspired to decide that “I’ll have what she’s having”.

I googled late blooming plants and the first one to pop-up on my screen was one called Blue Jean Baby, which is a Russian Sage.  Who wouldn’t want to be a Blue Jean Baby? Of course, Sage has long been known to assist in connecting us to our spiritual realm, enhance intuition and to reach a healing state.  This is quite fitting with who I am and how I wish to live my life - in full bloom.

What People Are Saying

“Upon entering Debbie’s space, her positive, loving energy immediately creates a safe and supportive environment. Debbie has a gentle, yet direct manner of helping me get to some suppressed emotions and let them go. Debbie is authentic, down-to-earth, and she has a great sense of humour.

Debbie’s guidance has led me to reach a point of forgiveness; forgiveness of others and myself. At the end of each of our meetings, I have left feeling lighter, energized, more open and more present.

Working with Debbie has helped to bring me to a higher level of awareness and a lower level of self-judgement. I’m definitely still a work in progress, but I’m so grateful that Debbie is walking alongside me shining a light.”

“To “work” with Debbie Clarke is to enter into a very safe place.  With tender cues she gently guides you into memories, feelings, sensations and experiences.  Her questions are intuitive and help you to get to thoughts and insights that are new and revealing. And to release that which is holding you back.

There is no judgement, no bias.  Just warmth and a very caring spirit.  She also happens to be very funny. Her support allows you to be vulnerable and courageous and mine hidden gems in yourself.

I fully recommend working with Debbie to release pain, discomfort, or just that feeling of being stuck.”

I went to see Debbie as I was curious as to what a Journey process could do for me and I was surprised by the impact it had on me. My eldest sister passed away 25 years ago waiting for a heart and lung transplant. She was 37 and I was 24. I thought I had dealt with her passing and didn’t think it still affected me and my daily life.

After going through the process with Debbie I felt as though a load has been lifted off my shoulders. I was able to resolve some heavy emotions I didn’t realize I still held on to. I now can talk about my sister without that lump in my throat and being close to tears.

I would recommend this process to anyone who has had to deal with a loss - of any kind. I felt safe to explore these tough emotions with Debbie and this is not normally an easy thing for me to do. But ... it was worth it!! Thank you Debbie for helping me work through a wall I didn’t know existed ️
